Greece, 2017

This summer house on the Greek island of Patmos is designed to disappear into the landscape. Made of local stone, the house is divided into two volumes, with the master bedroom set apart from the communal areas. Thanks to this layout, the public and private areas have different microclimates, enjoying the sunshine and sea breeze at different times of the day. The painted wooden ceiling — a traditional feature on Patmos — matches the olive-green window and door frames, blending into the landscaped gardens. In collaboration with: JEPA John Papagrigorakis
