Office life doesn’t have to be boring. A site-specific work by graffiti artist b. in the entrance sets the iconoclastic tone for this shipbrokers HQ in a modern office block. We injected plenty of playful personality into the 500 square-metre premises. A site-cast concrete reception topped with red corian and an installation of illuminated globes delineate the foyer. A self-levelling floor juxtaposed with industrial elements on the ceiling create interest and texture in the open-plan office space. Curvaceous glass cubicles serve as meeting rooms, reflecting the company’s commitment to transparency. Multi-coloured drapes in denim, corduroy and felt provide for moments of privacy.
